Jacksonville has become a hot spot in Florida for COVID-19 hospitalizations. A day after reporting 32 new patients in a 24-hour period, Baptist Health on Wednesday reported 61 new COVID-19-positive patients four of them children admitted on Tuesday.  Northeast Florida has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, but it’s never been as bad as it is now, wrote Michael A. Mayo, CEO of Baptist Health in a recent Facebook post. Baptist Health is seeing an all-time high of COVID-19 hospitalizations, Mayo continued.
