HAVING SPENT SIX years working as an assistant coach with Racing 92 in France and the Crusaders in New Zealand, Ronan O’Gara felt ready for greater responsibility when Top 14 outfit La Rochelle came calling in 2019.
Former Leinster and Ulster coach Jono Gibbes was already in place as La Rochelle’s director of rugby, but O’Gara was offered the head coach role – meaning he is in charge of both attack and defence – and he jumped at the chance to step up.

A Florida nurse has been arrested for sexually assaulting a patient under his care at a local hospital, Citrus County Sheriff s office said.
The police arrested 57-year-old Hiram Bonilla of Tampa on lewd and lascivious charges. Bonilla was taken into custody Tuesday. A staff member at a Citrus county hospital reported the incident on Jan. 6.
The victim told the deputy who responded to the complaint that a registered nurse had entered her room in Citrus Memorial Hospital and engaged in sexual activity with her on several occasions on Jan. 5 and 6, said a news release from the sheriff s office.

Citrus County Sheriff Mike Prendergast announced the promotion of six of his deputies and brought attention Tuesday to their accomplishments during a ceremony.
âThese promotions were made to further strengthen and structure the Citrus County Sheriffâs Office for future endeavors,â CCSO spokesman Sgt. Lee Carey wrote the Chronicle.
