NEW job roles are soon to be filled at a multi-million pound new care home in Malvern. Around 70 vacancies are being filled at Windsor Court Care Home, which is being built in the town by the Maria Mallaband Care Group. To recruit new staff, the company is holding a recruitment event on April 23 and 24 at its showroom in Malvern s Church Street. The private 51 bedroom care home, built on the site of the now closed Malvern Community Hospital, is set to be opened this summer, with jobs for everyone from those with no experience in care, to those with years of experience in the industry.

JESUP, Ga. (WTOC) - The Jesup Police Department chief was fired after some employees accused him of making sexually charged remarks, among other allegations.
The former chief had his grievance hearing Monday arguing his termination.
Former chief Mike Laneâs attorney said last week that the hearing was necessary because it gave him an opportunity to refute the allegations that led to his firing.
âAnytime they are disciplined or terminated or anything like that, they have the option to file a grievance,â Jesup Clerk Rose Marcus The grievance board decided Monday they would continue to deliberate the decision to fire Lane.
Public Health Director Frank Kruppa gave an update to the County Legislature about the COVID-19 emergency response, where he revealed that 16,000 people in Tompkins County have received the vaccine.
