Chody files lawsuit contesting November election, alleging fraud

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody is now contesting the November election, which he lost by more than 33,000 votes.
Chody is alleging fraud took place and in his lawsuit, he lists numerous irregularities he claims puts the election results in doubt.

Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody is suing the man who defeated his reelection bid, claiming election fraud. The lawsuit against Mike Gleason says a glitch caused voters in Leander to be given the wrong ballots on Election Day. It also claims Gleason and his wife stood within Wi-Fi range of one of Leander s polling places for most of Election Day. An affidavit included with the lawsuit says Gleason s wife is the director of the Williamson County Enterprise Applications Division and has complete access to the voting machine software.

Spectrum News 1 obtained a copy of a lawsuit Chody filed against Gleason contesting the outcome of the November election.
Precious metals markets are on the move this week.
They got a boost following Wednesday’s Federal Reserve policy statement. Fed officials kept their benchmark interest rate near zero and vowed to continue injecting $120 billion per month into the bond market.
The central bank seemed unconcerned about bubble-like conditions in equity markets. Nothing seems likely to deter it from pursuing more stimulus for the foreseeable future.
The ultra-dovish Fed helped nudge the U.S. Dollar Index down. It broke below 90 on Thursday to record a new low for the year. Dollar weakness energized gold and silver markets.
In fact, silver appears to be launching toward a major technical breakout. The white metal gained two dollars through Thursday’s close to clear $26 per ounce. More importantly, it cleared through a zone of resistance to hit a 12-week high.
