Actor Kirk Cameron, well known for his role as Mike Seaver in Growing Pains is facing backlash. He hosted a Christmas caroling event outside of The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks. The video from the event shows hundreds of people gathered to sing Christmas carols with only few of them wearing masks or practicing social distancing. This event generated tons of backlash as there are 2,651 new coronavirus cases reported in Ventura County everyday. Kirk Cameron urged people to attend the event and posted on his Instagram afterwards, People had such a great time. It lifted our spirits. Over 500 people gathered.
