Practice began outside on another muggy day but was quickly moved inside after lightning was spotted in the area. Players were without pads as they trotted inside, getting a break from the grueling hits of the last two days with contact.
I d be remiss not to mention that before the move inside, we got to meet Specs, who is a puppy that the Glazer Vision Foundation is sponsoring to become a guide dog for someone who is visually impaired. Specs will be with the Foundation and around the Bucs facility while he trains to be the goodest of good boys and we are so happy to have him as part of the Bucs family. I mean, just look at him.
Tight end O.J. Howard has yet to suit up for training camp. Seen warming up and catching passes to the side, he continues to work his way back from a torn Achilles. His non-placement on the teams PUP list would assume he is close to a return however. Safety Raven Greene, who was excused for personal reasons, has not yet reported to camp.

Meanwhile, Antoine Winfield missed the second day of practice due to a false/positive COVID test result. After practicing the first three days outside linebacker Cam Gill did not practice on Wednesday. Also missing practice was wide receiver Chris Godwin, who now has missed three days since participating Sunday. We will continue to monitor these players on the injury front.
