FORT WORTH, Texas A massive brawl broke out in the moments following the Armed Forces Bowl on Thursday, marring Mississippi State s 28-26 win against Tulsa in Fort Worth, Texas.
It is unclear what sparked the fight, which included kicking and punching and involved several members from both teams. What started with some shoving near midfield during the postgame handshake spilled toward and down one of the sidelines.
Both Tulsa and its conference, the AAC, said it would review what happened and hand out discipline if warranted. We take this incident very seriously and will respond appropriately after the review is complete, Tulsa said in a statement.

The commissioner of the American Athletic Conference promised to conduct a thorough review after a wild brawl broke out between Tulsa and Mississippi State players Thursday shortly after the Armed Forces Bowl ended. It s unclear what sparked the melee, but CBSSports.com reports both teams were jawing at each other before kickoff and there were some chippy moments during the game.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - One day after winning the programâs first-ever American Athletic Conference Championship, UC has been chosen to play in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
The Bearcats capped a 9-0 regular season with its 27-24 win against Tulsa in Saturdayâs AAC title game. UC enters the bowl season as one of five unbeaten teams nationally and one of only three unbeaten teams with at least nine victories.
