The woman in the car told authorities she didn’t realize her car had been hit with a bullet until she stopped at a Wawa store in Upper Macungie Township, outside Allentown. She was uninjured.

When asked if a suspect had been located just before 6:45 a.m. near a child care center along Route 100, a Lehigh County emergency dispatch supervisor declined to comment. Just before 8:30 a.m., Branosky said there is no danger to the public.
