ORANGE and LOS ANGELES Counties, Calif., April 7, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Following a successful Blue Shield of California Trio partnership with MemorialCare s Long Beach Medical Center, Miller Children s & Women s Hospital Long Beach and hundreds of MemorialCare physicians in Greater Long Beach and southern Los Angeles County, MemorialCare was recently chosen to be part of the Blue Shield Trio network in Orange County. The prestigious Pandemic Heroes Award honor were selected by leaders and advisors of The Leapfrog Group, an independent national organization of employers and other groups focused on healthcare safety and quality. Selections were based on nominations from U.S. hospitals.
