The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating two weekend break and enters where cash and jewelry were stolen.
A business in downtown Pembroke in the 0-100 block of Pembroke Street West was entered sometime between 1:30 and 2:30 a.m. Sunday, June 27 and a quantity of cash was stolen, according to police.

On the evening of June 28 officers from the UOV OPP responded to a break and enter to a residence in the 500 block of Almira Street in the City of Pembroke. Sometime between June 24 and 28, a quantity of jewelry, including several rings, and American currency were stolen.
