Apr 9, 2021 MARQUETTE The U.P. Energy Task Force has submitted 16 recommendations to promote energy security for Upper Peninsula residents to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The report cited exceptional geography that has hindered infrastructure development and contributed to market dynamics that expose U.P. families and businesses to some of the nation’s highest electricity rates and energy supply vulnerabilities.
