Montgomery County on Wednesday opened all its COVID vaccination clinics for walk-ins.
The announcement comes a week after the county announced plans for a single walk-in clinic, in Norristown. Bucks County vaccine clinics also are open walk-ins.
Walk-ins will be eligible to receive the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine or the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Second doses still are by appointment only.
Clinic hours for the remainder of the week are as follows:
Wednesday, May 5
Montgomery Mall, (former Sears, 2nd level), Pfizer, 9 a.m.-3:45 p.m.
Parkside Shopping Center, (between Planet Fitness and Rally House), 2522 West Moreland Road, Willow Grove, J&J, 9 a.m.-3:45 p.m.

NORRISTOWN â While more than 100 Montgomery County residents tested positive for the coronavirus in the latest daily report, health officials announced that beginning Wednesday all county-run vaccination clinics will offer walk-up availability for a vaccine.
County officials said they will offer walk-up availability to reduce barriers and make it easier for people to get the vaccine when it is most convenient.
While no appointments are necessary for first doses, people are encouraged to bring their identification and insurance card to register at the clinic site. If residents prefer, they can still make appointments at http://vaccine.montcopa.org/ to speed up the registration process.
