MELAKA: The 47-year-old driver who rammed into a roadside stall in Klebang here Sunday (April 18) was found to have been driving under the influence of drugs.
Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Afzanizar Ahmad said the driver, who is from Kelantan and had no valid driving licence, was believed to have lost control of his vehicle before ramming into the stall at 5.15pm Sunday, seriously injuring three.
The three were preparing orders for the breaking of the fast at the roadside stall along Jalan Limbongan here.
ACP Afzanizar identified the injured as 57-year-old Norazizah Jenal from Kampung Limbongan, Klebang Kecil, who sustained leg injuries; her daughter Nurul Ayu Umairah Samsuddin, 15, who sustained injuries to the right shoulder, stomach and her 13-year-old son Muhammad Aliff Hazimie Samsuddin, who sustained injuries on his left leg.
