Authorities have identified the suspects’ vehicle involved in a road rage incident on the 55 Freeway in Orange last week in which a 6-year-old boy was fatally shot.
California Highway Patrol posted a picture on Twitter showing a white Volkswagen Golf SportWagen on the freeway. A woman is suspected of driving the vehicle, authorities said, and a man sitting in the passenger seat is believed to have fired the shot that killed Aiden Leos.

Orange County Supervisor Don Wagner said earlier in the week he would match the family’s contribution, and Supervisor Katrina Foley added $50,000 Tuesday from her office’s budget, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Authorities in Orange County are now offering a $200,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of a shooter that killed a 6-year-old boy during a road rage incident. The boy, Aiden Leos, was shot and killed last week along the 55 Freeway in Orange. The victim's family first offered a $50,000 reward before Orange County Supervisor Don Wagner approved an additional $50,000 to be added to their reward from the county's.
Supervisor Donald P. Wagner held a press conference to double the Leos’s $50,000 reward, bringing the amount to $100,000. Supervisor Wagner’s message inspired his colleagues and the business community to match his reward, eventually bringing the new total reward to $250,000. Six-year-old Aiden Leos was fatally shot in Orange on his way to school in Yorba Linda; both cities Supervisor Wagner represents.
“Aiden’s killer will be held accountable for this atrocity,” said Supervisor Wagner. “I led this effort for the community to get behind and I’m grateful my colleague, Supervisor Katrina Foley, agreed to add another $50,000. I want to thank District Attorney Spitzer and our businesses for each bringing $50,000 to the table. Please come forward if you have any information or know someone who may have information that could crack this case.”
