The Greater Milwaukee Foundation and a handful of Medical College of Wisconsin programs are gearing up to move into a new home together on the North Side.
The organizations will share part of the 455,000 square-foot building that was formerly a Gimbels-Schuster’s department store in a community outreach partnership they’re calling the ThriveOn Collaboration.

SOUTHINGTON A West Hartford man has been accused of “aggressively fighting” multiple officers as they investigated a domestic violence call, according to police.
Jeffrey Bowman, 22, of Troutbrook Drive, was charged with four counts of assault on public safety personnel, interfering with an officer and two counts of violation of a protective order.
Mayo Clinic buys former Days Inn site in Rochester for $10 million
There are no immediate plans for the site.

ROCHESTER, Minn. Mayo Clinic has purchased the former Days Inn site, on the northeast corner of West Center Street and First Avenue Northwest in Rochester, from MKDI LLC for a sale price of $10 million and a charitable contribution to Mayo Clinic in excess of $3.7 million, according to a statement from Mayo Clinic.
The statement continues on to say: MKDI LLC approached Mayo Clinic regarding the property this fall with an interest in a bargain sale of the property to support Mayo Clinic s ongoing mission. There are no immediate plans for the site.

LEE â With the developer promising more parking, if needed, the Lee Planning Board unanimously has backed a revised plan for redeveloping the Eagle Mill with more housing and less commercial space than originally planned.
By a 5-0 vote Monday night, the town planners, despite lingering concerns over adequate parking, felt confident that principal developer Jeffrey Cohen would increase the number of spaces if the demand warrants it. The decision did not include any conditions for the developer to meet regarding the parking.
âThey donât want a parking disaster. I really feel they would do something about it,â said Planning Board member Buck Donovan.
