Zweiter Schweinepest-Zaun im Nordosten geplant
Pomellen / Schwerin / Schwedt - Für einen besseren Schutz gegen die Afrikanische Schweinepest (ASP) wollen Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und Brandenburg einen zweiten Schutzzaun errichten.

In dem Zwischenraum zum ersten Zaun soll eine Schutzzone (Weiße Zone) entstehen, die möglichst ganz frei von Wildschweinen gehalten wird, wie ein Sprecher des Landkreises Vorpommern-Greifswald am Freitag sagte.
Nach Angaben des Schweriner Agrarministeriums ist der Bau des zweiten Schutzzauns in Vorpommern zunächst auf 2,5 Kilometern südlich der Autobahn 11 Berlin-Stettin bei Pomellen geplant. Die Kosten werden auf rund 100.000 Euro geschätzt, Baubeginn soll frühestens im August sein.
