Man shot, killed under NW Side bridge, police say

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot under a bridge late Monday night.
Officers were called around 9:50 p.m. to the intersection of Fredericksburg Road and West Drive, not far from Interstate 10 and West Woodlawn Avenue after receiving reports of shots fired.
According to police, when officers arrived they found a man in his 40s deceased under a bridge.
Police said unfortunately, they have no witness or suspect information.
SAPD also did not identify the victim, intending to notify next of kin.

12:52 p.m. A caller from a business on Manion Canyon Road reported an ongoing issue with a home owner screaming at their delivery drivers and driving erratically when the their trucks are in the area, almost causing collisions. The home owner also called, informing that they had repeatedly called the company to complain about their delivery drivers’ speed. Advice was provided to both parties.
1:22 p.m. A caller from Jackass Flats Road, near Tyler Foote Crossing Road, reported a vehicle traveling over 100 miles per hour.
1:38 p.m. A caller from Highway 49, near Alta Sierra Drive, reported a vehicle unable to maintain lanes and varying speeds.
Iowa Realty consolidating its West Des Moines real estate offices to one location Monday, March 8, 2021 10:54 AM Iowa Realty Co. is consolidating its three West Des Moines locations into an office that will be located in Mills Crossing at 5901 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines, a company official said.
The company’s residential real estate offices will be in space between the Container Store and Recreational Equipment Inc., or REI. The consolidation only affects the company’s West Des Moines offices.
“The real estate office of today is not what it was five or 10 years ago,” said Kim Bakey, CEO of HomeServices of Iowa, of which Iowa Realty is a subsidiary. “The new space will be more collaborative. It’s going to be more open with [fewer] traditional offices.”
