A profile of the legendary jazz drummer and composer Jerry Granelli, on the eve of turning 80. He has accompanied many of the greats, including: Mose Allison, Sly Stone and The Grateful Dead. And most famously, he is the last surviving member of the Vince Guaraldi Trio that recorded the iconic album: A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Jerry Granelli is the last surviving member of the Vince Guaraldi Trio that recorded the iconic 1965 album, A Charlie Brown Christmas. It wasn t until 2013 that the legendary jazz drummer was ready to play music from this album again. I had to appreciate it. The joy that it brought people, he says. (Scott Irvine c. 2019)
