Marie Buchan, 39, plans to spend the festive period with her children but will then fly to Alicante without them for a holiday.

Marie, who rakes in around £26,000-a-year in handouts, said she needs a break from her kids after taking care of them for most of the year because schools were shut due to the pandemic. Octomum Marie, of Selly Oak, Birmingham, told Metro.co.uk: There’s been no turning off and I know I’m going to get a lot of negative comments but I’m going to take it.
