NFL Draft 2021 preview: What you need to know about the Browns, Buckeyes - and Cleveland - with two weeks to go

What does that mean for the draft?
It shouldn’t factor into what they do with the No. 26 overall pick, both Mary Kay Cabot and Dan Labbe agreed earlier this week in the Orange and Brown Talk podcast.
The draft is two weeks away and begins at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 29 in Cleveland with the first round (ESPN and NFL Network will carry television broadcasts). The second and third rounds follow on April 30 and the fourth through seventh rounds are May 1.
How would Jadeveon Clowney impact the rest of the defensive line?

CLEVELAND, Ohio If the Browns ink Jadeveon Clowney on Wednesday, it would certainly have a ripple effect on their plans at defensive end.
Myles Garrett is, of course, Myles Garrett, but Clowney would likely slide into the starting spot opposite Garrett. He also would move Takk McKinley into more of an Adrian Clayborn-type role while the likes of Porter Gustin and Curtis Weaver would have to fight for playing time and opportunities.
Then, of course, there’s the draft, where the Browns could add another edge rusher on any of the three days.

The deal, according to Mary Kay Cabot, is for $8 million, but can go up to $10 million with incentives.
The Browns pursued Clowney heavily in 2020, but he opted to sign a one-year deal with the Titans instead. Now that he’s in Cleveland, he will form what should be a tough duo of defensive ends to play against along with Myles Garrett.

It seems like we have heard Odell Beckham Jr. trade rumors on a monthly basis ever since he was acquired by the Cleveland Browns from the New York Giants back in March of 2019.
These rumors have not died down following a 2020 season in which Beckham Jr. struggled through seven games before suffering a torn ACL. It now appears that the Browns are at least willing to listen to offers for the Pro Bowl receiver.
“I don’t think that there will be a trade partner for him out there. I think he’s going to be on the team this season,” Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot noted recently. “But I would also say that even though I am believing that Odell and Jarvis (Landry) are going to be the two main receivers this year, if someone did come and make an offer to the Browns for Odell, I still think that they would listen to it.
