PARADISE, Calif. - The county has its cut on Pacific Gas and Electric settlements, but some Camp Fire survivors are still waiting on their cut of the money.

Paradise moves forward with new sewage project
Paradise town council met today to continue the discussion around the town’s plans for a new sewage system.

Jones has been living in paradise for over 20 years.
After the Camp Fire, she opened a new business called Nic s.
She says a sewer system would help businesses grow on the ridge. In the first place, it would basically improve the town because it is something we have needed for a long time,” she said. “As far as restaurants especially, most of us are limited in our capacity. So, if we get a sewer, or should I say when we get a sewer, then I can expand the capacity and actually make this a full-fledged restaurant.
