The P15,000 worth of scholarship voucher could be used for the graduating Grade 12 student s chosen college or university. According to Mayor Lino Cayetano on Monday, the voucher entitles the bearer to claim the amount of P15,000 under the Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-Need (LANI) scholarship program, provided that the student enrolls in any technical-vocational, certificate, or baccalaureate course. This voucher is part of the L.A.N.I Scholarship Program that persuades graduates to take up tertiary education. To our beloved students, we have faced so much this year, let us get inspiration from this graduation, the mayor said.

The highly dreaded and contagious Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), has been detected in Taguig, an official said.
In a weekly report, Clarence Santos, head of the Taguig Safe City Task Force, said one case of the Delta variant has been confirmed in Taguig, according to the City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CEDSU).

As of July 12, Taguig’s CEDSU said there are 73 cases of COVID-19 variants in Taguig: one Delta variant, 26 Alpha variants including two recent cases detected between June 3 and 7; and 46 Beta variants including three cases last detected between June 4 and 5.

The Taguig City government will start Friday (July 2) the vaccination of people belonging to the A5 priority group or the indigent population.
Using its vaccination bus, the city government will hold a symbolic vaccination of A5 group at Bagong Lipunan Condominium Tenement in Brgy. Western Bicutan.

It is targeting to vaccinate 1,000 A5 people through the vaccination bus. The bus, which can previously handle 200 people per day, can now vaccinate 1,000, and will be used for A4 (essential workers), A5 and second dose recipients at the Tenement event. Another vaccination bus will be deployed to Brgy. Bagumbayan to vaccinate 1,000 people.
