Tucker Carlson Tonight host examines current policing conditions as liberals turn blind eye to BLM and Antifa chaos
The ironically-named Civil Rights Division of the Biden Justice Department announced Wednesday there will be no charges brought against the man who shot and killed protester Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol back in January. No one who pays attention was surprised to hear this.
In cases like this, the benefit of the doubt usually does goes to law enforcement, and as we’ve often said, we’re fine with that. It should. But still, in a free society, the rest of us have a right to know roughly what happened. In this case, who shot Ashli Babbitt and why?

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliott said yesterday police in his city do not need to carry guns while executing a traffic stop, Shore News Network reported.
“I don’t believe that officers need to necessarily have weapons every time they’re making a traffic stop,” he said. “Or engaged in situations that don’t call for weapons. There are jurisdictions around the world where that is the case and it’s not needed.”
Elliott made his absurd remarks days after Duante Wright, 20, was killed by a police officer while attempting to flee a detention once police discovered he had a warrant related to an attempted armed robbery, Law Officer reported.

Leo Terrell, the Fox News “civil rights attorney” who is now one of the network’s African American Black Attackers, lectured President Biden to shut up about Jim Crow because “It is a lie.
Terrell appeared on Fox’s America Reports “news” show, shortly after the Brooklyn Center, Minnesota police officer who shot and killed Daunte Wright was arrested and soon to be charged.
Anchor Sandra Smith set the stage by saying, admiringly, that Terrell had been “fired up” on Twitter over (Black) Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliott saying that police don’t always need guns for traffic stops. In other words, she was asking Terrell to redo his Tweet storm on the air for the white supremacy network.
Ex-officer charged with 2nd-degree manslaughter in Daunte Wright killing
An ex-police officer who shot and killed a Black man in a Minneapolis suburb after a traffic stop has been arrested and charged with second-degree manslaughter, authorities said Wednesday.
Kim Potter, who resigned as a Brooklyn Center police officer this week,is charged in Sunday’s shooting death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, Washington County Attorney Pete Orput said. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Wright died of a gunshot wound and the death was a homicide.
Potter was arrested late Wednesday morning by agents with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the bureau said. She was booked into the Hennepin County Jail, online records show.
The Abolition of Doubt

If you were surprised by the firing of Curt Boganey, the City Manager of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, merely for saying that the police officer who shot a wanted criminal was entitled to due process, you haven’t been paying attention.
Kim Potter, the officer in question, says she thought she had reached for her Taser rather than her pistol (she even shouted “Taser!”) when Daunte Wright, 20, wanted on felony weapons charges, attempted to flee from a traffic stop. Wright, a black man, was killed in the incident.
Maybe it was, as she claims, an accident, and maybe it wasn’t. It sounds like an accident to me, but I admit there must be some doubt. It would once, therefore, have been a matter of course to say that a fair trial should decide the truth of the matter.
