The family of 15-year-old Jack Jones said they have taken comfort in the thousands of messages and kind words they have received following his death. Jack, from Woodchurch, was killed after being knocked down on Manor Drive, Upton, on Monday, April 26.
Yesterday evening, Jack s mum Marj Jones took to social media to say thank you to all those who have paid tribute to Jack and lain flowers on Manor Drive.

A man suspected of being behind a hit and run which killed 15-year-old Jack Jones on the Wirral appeared at court today..
Leo Meek has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and also failing to stop at the scene of an accident. The 22-year-old of West Way, Moreton, pleaded guilty to failing to stop at the scene when he appeared at Wirral magistrates court today.

Jack Jones, 15, from Woodchurch, whose family have paid tribute to him following his death on Monday, April 26 The family of a teenager who was killed in a hit and run in Wirral has paid tribute to their funny, kind and sensitive boy .
Jack Jones, from Woodchurch, died on Monday, April 26 after being knocked from his bicycle by a car. Emergency services were called to Manor Drive in Upton at around 9.45pm. The driver failed to stop at the scene.
