It s an environmental watchdog that has campaigned vigorously against the destruction of Cambodia s natural habitat caused in the name of development that oftentimes profits individuals and companies that are tied with Hun Sen. On May 5, five members of Mother Nature were sentenced to between 18 and 20 months in prison by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court for supposed “incitement to create social chaos.” Amnesty International called the convictions “outrageous.”

Everton U23s bring their PL2 season to a close tonight with a home game against Southampton.
The side could finish as high as 5th but the season has been one of transition as the old guard have been largely sent out on loan as a precursor to finding new clubs while a raft of youngsters with limited playing time in the U18s have been moved on to the Professional Development fast-track.
This season has seen the elevation of 16-year-old Thierry Small, 17-year-olds Luke Butterfield, Stanley Mills and Charlie Whitaker, while Callum Connolly, Matthew Pennington and Beni Baningime departed on-loan in January; for Connolly and Penington, their Everton contracts expire next month. Kyle John, Ryan Astley and Joe Anderson have all been offered extended deals but top-scorer Nathan Broadhead will see his contract end in June.

Dai Cornell was again in goal with Kane Vincent-Young at right-back and Myles Kenlock at left-back with Stephen Ward again missing out.
The veteran Irishman, who is out of contract this summer, appears to have played his final game for the club with his total of league starts this season having reached 29 and we understand, as was the case with Alan Judge, a 30th would trigger Town’s year’s option on his deal.
