PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) Isaac Bonton scored 23 points and Washington State made 6 of 8 free throws in the final 30 seconds to defeat Oregon 74-71 on Thursday night, the Cougars first win in Eugene since 2009 and first-ever in Matthew Knight Arena.

> The Cougs head to Corvallis in search of a season sweep over the Beavers after defeating OSU, 59-55, in the third game of the year back on Dec. 2. The last time WSU swept a home-and-home in the series came in the 2011-12 season. The last time the Cougs won in Corvallis came in 2013.
> WSU is a perfect 14-0 against teams from the Pacific Northwest under head coach Kyle Smith after posting at least one win against UW, ORE, and OSU in back-to-back seasons for the first time since a three-year run in 1993-95.

Washington continues its road swing in Oregon taking on the Ducks at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Matthew Knight Arena.
