A man who allegedly attacked a pedestrian with pipe has been charged by police.
East Algoma OPP said officers responded this past Tuesday, around 8:30 p.m., to an assault in Blind River.

“Investigation determined a person was walking eastbound on Hudson Street when a pickup truck pulled up beside him,” the OPP said in a release.
“An individual exited the vehicle, assaulted the victim with a pipe and left the area.”
The victim was transported to local hospital by paramedics, where hey were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
