DVIDS - News - NAVFAC Washington Pilots Automated Vehicle Sharing Program in National Capital Region

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Washington recently implemented automated vehicle sharing technology in the National Capital Region, aiming to optimize usage of its fleet of vehicles. NAVFAC Washington provides transportation services to military commands and government agencies in the Washington metropolitan area and is piloting this automated system for the worldwide NAVFAC enterprise. To do so, the command has partnered with Agile Fleet, a Virginia-based company which provides fleet management solutions to government, university, utility and commercial sectors. Agile Fleet’s system, called FleetCommander, automates motor pools and provides comprehensive analytics designed to help right-size vehicle fleets. FleetCommander automates vehicle sharing through a combination of hardware and software. Catoosa Police: Man Arrested, Accused Of Hiding Meth In Pants During Traffic Stop A man recently released from prison is back behind bars after officers said he put a bag of meth down his pants to hide it from officers during a traffic stop. Mathew Aldridge was just released from prison after serving time for first degree burglary, and now he is facing drug charges with the intent to distribute.  Aldridge s criminal history shows he was released from prison in December 2020 after he was convicted in Tulsa County of first degree burglary. Catoosa Police said when they arrested Aldridge they also found an escape warrant for him from 2007 in Garfield County.
