Cousin of alleged gang boss among 10 accused of smashing luxury cars at dealership

Cape Town – The cousin of suspected 28s gang boss Ralph Stanfield is among 10 men who were arrested for smashing luxury cars at a dealership last month.
The accused have been sent to jail after their appearance in the Cape Town Magistrate s Court on Monday.
Simon Stanfield, along with Jeffrey Pitolo, Keith September, Anzio Arnolds, Adiel Paul, Luke Pretorius, Kevin Kiddo, John Fernandez, Mogamat Stellenboom and Jonathan Petersen, are charged with two counts of attempted robbery and malicious damage to property for the incident at The Toy Shop in Milnerton.

A woman has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing her father who had served jail time for a brutal assault in the NSW Hunter region last night.

Police were called to a home in Tenambit, in Maitland, around 7.20pm and discovered a man suffering two stab wounds to his upper torso.

A Maitland man has been charged with the murder of a three-month-old infant in Newcastle earlier this year.
In August this year, emergency services were called to a unit at Hamilton South shortly before 11am following reports a baby girl was found unresponsive.
The baby was taken to John Hunter Hospital where she was declared deceased.
Local police established a strike force to investigate the circumstances surrounding the baby s death.

A man has been charged with a string of offences over a fatal crash in the Hunter last month.
Just after 9pm on November 7, emergency services were called to Anambah Road at Rutherford, after a Ford utility left the roadway and hit a guard rail.
The front-seat passenger, a 29-year-old man, was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The 33-year-old driver was arrested and taken to John Hunter Hospital for mandatory testing, before being taken to Maitland Police Station.
Police started inquiries with assistance from the Crash Investigation Unit.
The 33-year-old man has been charged with six offences, including aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death and driving under the influence of an illicit drug.
