Furniture rental company Feather has leased a 33,000 s/f
warehouse space at Industry City.
A direct-to-consumer sustainability-minded company, Feather
has relocated its warehouse operations to the Sunset Park campus owned by
Belvedere Capital, Jamestown and Angelo Gordon & Co. to accommodate an increase
in business
In 2020, Feather experienced a 400 percent increase in
demand from the prior year for work-from-home items, in addition to a 260
percent increase in items they describe as “cozy,” such as chairs and sofas.
Feather’s product portfolio is primarily designed by its
in-house team, but the company also partners with popular brands such as West
Elm an Industry City tenant Floyd, and Pottery Barn.

Maddie Raymond says she has been sickened by the furore that has erupted over the Inglis online auction of her old warrior,
Pacodali.
The auction of the rising nine-year-old created a social media storm and led to a gofundme page which late this morning had raised almost $5,000 to re-home the popular gelding, winner of the
2019 Eclipse Stakes and over $600,000 in stakemoney.
Jockey
Damian Lane, a former regular rider of Pacodali, donated $1000 and was one of dozens to contribute to the gofundme page.
Pacodali was imported from Ireland by owner

DISGRUNTLED TRAINERS TO STRIKE A SECOND TIME

Victorian greyhound racing will be subjected to its second day of strike action in the space of a month as the gulf widens between the participants and the sport’s governing body.
