Sean Penn will not return to film Starz’s upcoming Watergate TV series “Gaslit” until mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are instituted for all crew members, TheWrap has learned.
The limited series’ producer, Universal Content Productions, currently stipulates that only those designated in Zone A on a production are required to get vaccinated. That would include the cast and everyone who comes in close contact with them. Penn, however, wants those in Zones B and C to also be required to take one of the three available vaccines, an individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap.

Washington [US], July 23 (ANI): Hollywood star Sean Penn has refused to return to work on Starz s Watergate series Gaslit until all cast and crew on the production have had the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor s firm position on mandatory vaccinations comes on the heels of a big spike in virus cases as the highly contagious delta variant spreads throughout California and U.S.
In Los Angeles County, COVID-19 cases have reached levels not seen since the waning days of the winter spike. Local officials have even warned the vaccinated to also take precautions.
