Tomasz Dembler MURDER detectives say a former Darlington man whose body was found in woodland this week may have been killed several weeks ago. A murder investigation has been launched into the death of the man, whose body was found and recovered from woodland near to Flatts Lane Country Park in Normanby, Middlesbrough. Detectives have today named the victim as 39-year-old Tomasz Dembler from Poland. Tomasz has lived in the UK for the last 20 years - recently in the Middlesbrough area, and before that in Darlington. Tomasz is a father-of-one, who has family in Poland and parts of the UK.

A man whose body was found in woodland could have been murdered up to a month ago, police have said.
The body of Tomasz Dembler was discovered by two members of the public near Flatts Lane Country Park on the outskirts of Middlesbrough on Monday.
Cleveland Police believe the 39-year-old died in a targeted murder and might have been killed at some point in mid-March.
The father-of-one came to the UK from Poland 20 years ago.
Police said Mr Dembler had recently been living in Middlesbrough having moved there from Darlington.
