When I’m not in the WTOP traffic center, chances are you’ll find me out at a concert, which is why it’s been such an adjustment for me during COVID-19.
What’s a music lover to do? Live concert streams! There is something for everyone, from national acts playing for charity to local faves trying to earn a living.

With lockdown restrictions, a gloom has descended on the holiday season with all in person concerts and performances canceled. But despite a make or break year for most arts groups, many Bay Area classical music and dance stalwarts have ingeniously risen to the occasion and are offering holiday entertainment virtually that also function as fundraisers.
All the events listed below are available for streaming through the end of this month. Some charge admission prices while others are free and/or request a donation. During this critical period, these cultural institutions need audience backing. If at all possible support them financially so they can return in full force, hopefully by Fall 2021.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, concerts have moved online as artists, venues and other outlets create new ways to re-imagine the live-music experience as social-distancing practices are commonplace. New platforms and ticketed online events have emerged as the music industry continues to innovate during this time.

City of Hope s Music, Film and Entertainment Industry Group’s Future Hope New York Committee announced that it will partner with Bandsintown LIVE to present a vibrant live-streamed concert event, offering fans the opportunity to enjoy their favorite artists while benefiting City of Hope’s mission to eliminate cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
The event will feature performances from Almost Monday, Aloe Blacc, Andy Grammer, Anna Shoemaker, For King & Country, Gunnar Gehl, Jack Newsome, John Splithoff, JP Saxe, Kalie Shorr, Leslie Odom Jr., Lovelytheband, Matt Nathanson, Pentatonix, Ruth B., The Happy Fits, Train and more!
