Anderson did not answer a telephone call and did not respond to a text message. During his judge-alone trial, Anderson denied the assault and choking offences and claimed the woman had grabbed his arm and fell when he moved away. His criminal convictions meant that under Harness Racing rules he was automatically disqualified for two years. The disqualification extends to training, assisting or being involved in any capacity in the training of any horse without an exemption. The ban would have finished in August next year.

Vaccination gap leaving Wisconsin, U.S. behind herd immunity
Nearly 600,000 people have tested positive for the virus in Wisconsin

No where near reaching herd immunity.
Herd immunity occurs when enough people in a community are immune to a certain infectious disease that the disease can no longer effectively spread from person to person.
That essential gives protection to everyone.
According to UW Health, the U.S. could reach herd immunity when 70 to 90 percent of the population is vaccinated.
Although roughly 600,000 Wisconsinites have tested positive for the virus, that won’t help Wisconsin reach herd immunity like vaccinations will.

I THINK IN THE NEAR TERM IT’S UNLIKELY. KENT: DR. MATT ANDERSON OF UW HEALTH SAYS WITH NEWERR, HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS VARIANTS OF COVID, HERD IMMUNITY WOULD REQUIRE 75-OR-80% OF THE POPULATION TO BE VACCINATED. CURRENTLY JUST OVER 43% OF WISCONSINITES HAVE HAD AT LEAST DOSE OF VACCINE AND THE RATE AT WHICH PEOPLE ARE GETTING SHOTS IS DROPPING. ALSO, A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION IS CHILDREN UNDER AGE 15 WHO AREN’T YET ELIGIBLE FOR THE VACCINE. I THINK IT IS UNLIKELY THAT WE WILL HIT HERD IMMUNITY BEFORE WE HAVE THOSE 0-15 S INCLUDED IN THE POPULATION. SOME PEOPLE, GETTING THEIR SHOTS ON MONDAY, HAD DOUBTS ABOUT REACHING HERD IMMUNITY. Herd immunity to COVID-19 – what does it mean, and how will we know if we’ve gotten there?
“Herd immunity is the concept that by having a large percentage of a population, or your herd, immune to a particular infectious disease, that even within that herd, there can be people who are not immune who are protected who don’t get the illness, because there just aren’t cases of COVID-19 around due to that large immunity rate,” said Dr. Matt Anderson, senior medical director of primary care with UW Health.
