FIELDON TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KEYC) Crews responded to a one-vehicle semi crash in Watonwan County Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened just before 1:30 p.m. on Highway 60 near mile marker 75 in Fieldon Township.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a Freightliner semi-truck was traveling eastbound on Highway 60 when it left the roadway and crashed into the ditch.
The driver is 35-year-old Thomas Van-horsen from Sheldon, Iowa; he suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Madelia Hospital.
State Patrol says Van-horsen was wearing a seat belt and no alcohol was involved.

(Madelia, Mn.) Authorities in southern Minnesota responded Thursday to a semi crash on Highway 60 near Madelia.Â
The Minnesota State Patrol says the driver, who is from Sheldon, lost control of a 2018 Freightliner tractor/trailer as it was traveling eastbound on Highway 60. The rig crashed into a ditch.
The driver, who s name hasn t been released, was apparently injured in the crash, but a press release from the State Patrol doesn t say whether or not the person was taken to a hospital.
