When the AEW World Tag Team championship match opened the PPV on Sun., Mar. 7, 2021, the champions could barely wait for the bell before they attacked Jericho & his partner. Matt & Nick Jackson were beating the Inner Circle duo pillar to post. It even looked like the Bucks might get an early submission to retain their titles!

But when MJF grabbed Nick’s foot on the apron, it allowed Jericho to hit a springboard drop kick. On the outside, Friedman’s muscle Wardlow got involved - and the big man proved to be a difference maker several times throughout the match.
Shelby native debuts in All Elite Wrestling
Shelby s own JD Drake, real name James Drake, recently made his debut on All Elite Wrestling s web show, AEW Dark.
Drake s debut, which can be watched on All Elite Wrestling s YouTube page, saw him square off against AEW wrestler Eddie Kingston, whom Drake has wrestled countless times at promotions all over the globe.
For nearly 10 minutes the two men exchanged heavy chops, punches and kicks. Kingston eventually won the match after Drake missed a flipping dive, opening himself up for a finishing blow. I couldn’t imagine anyone better to make my debut against, said Drake. When we got started there could have been a million people watching, and it wouldn’t have mattered. We were so intense and locked in, we had just an Eddie and Drake fight.

AEW had previously booked a 10-man tag match between Matt Hardy, Private Party, & TH2 against the Dark Order for
Dynamite, but it has been changed thanks to Hardy knocking on Tony Khan’s forbidden door. Money Matt requested a PPV preview of Hardy and Hangman Page in the same ring. Khan granted the favor, and the new contest will be Hardy & Marq Quen versus Hangman & John Silver.
