St. Cloud family displaced after Saturday fire

A family of six was displaced following a fire Saturday evening, according to the St. Cloud Fire Department.
No one was injured in the house fire, but it caused an estimated $86,500 in damages, according to the Sunday Critical Incidents Report.
The fire took place around 9 p.m. Saturday off Ninth Avenue South in St. Cloud, according to the report. Firefighters suppressed a fire in an upstairs bedroom quickly, but there was smoke damage throughout the home.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.

Apartment fire displaces several residents

The fire happened around 8 p.m. at 1615 Goettens Way.
There were no injuries; damages are estimated at $157,000.
The cooking fire spread to cabinets and into the ceiling.
American Red Cross volunteers assisted three adults, two children and two dogs, according to a news release. Volunteers provided items such as food, clothing, shelter and medications.
