Suspect charged, another at large following high-speed chase in Terrebonne
One suspect was arrested and other remains at large following a high-speed chase Friday night near Dulac, authorities said.
Meghan Cortez, 27, of Gray, is charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin and ecstasy, possession of methamphetamine, transactions involving drug proceeds and other drug-related charges, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
Authorities are still searching for 35-year-old Dulac resident Ernest Dion Jr., who is wanted on multiple charges including aggravated flight from an officer, resisting arrest, battery of a police officer and obstruction of justice.
