(WSFA) - The search for an escaped inmate in Macon County came to an end Thursday evening. According to Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson, Nakelon Vason, 22, was caught in the area of Nancy Street and Auburn Street. He escaped Thursday from the Macon County Detention Facility. Brunson said Vason was in jail on a discharging a gun into an occupied dwelling charge.
