Where s Papaw? Stella Ford didn t understand why she couldn t see her great-grandfather, Ray Gorton. Despite only being a toddler, she remembered him and the brief moments where she would get to see him at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Home through the window.  Johnnie Carson, Ford s grandmother and Gorton s daughter, said Ford experienced some confusion when it came to not being able to see her Papaw.
