DTAC offers aid after glitch

Total Access Communication (DTAC) says it is offering up to 3,500-baht worth of compensation to subscribers unable to sign up for the government s 50-50 co-payment scheme due to technical glitches in the mobile operator s online systems Wednesday morning.
In a statement on Wednesday evening, DTAC said the remedies include a top-up bonus, free call and data usage as well as discounts for mobile phone purchases. DTAC will inform our affected customers via SMSs as quickly as possible, it said. The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) summoned DTAC to explain the problem on Wednesday afternoon.
