The city of Philadelphia has cut ties with Philly Fighting COVID, a startup that promised to revolutionize vaccine distribution but the effort instead became what one volunteer nurse described as a disaster, she told
The Washington Post.
Philly Fighting COVID, a self-described group of college kids, was awarded a contract from the city to help vaccinate people against COVID-19 despite having next to no health care experience, the Washington Post reported.
