A tipoff, followed by a successful raid led to the closure of a âdrug houseâ in Candlewood Street, Bonteheuwel.
Local councillor Angus McKenzie said the doors were shut on Tuesday 12 January.
âA huge thanks must go to residents who have assisted hugely in ensuring that relevant information is brought forward for us to act upon. Law enforcement has consisÂtently been assisting with raids. Towards the end of last year a drug house in Blombos Street that caused major problems was also shut down.

KEY ACTION: Approved legislation that places a five-year, 0.2% road levy renewal on the May 4 primary election ballot. If passed by city voters, collection on income tax levy would start in January 2022.
Over the first four years of the existing levy, approximately $1.8 million has been collected annually to help improve city streets.
OTHER ACTION: Passed separate resolutions naming Margy Vogt and Jeffrey Thornberry to the city s Historic Preservation Committee.
Approved a resolution to reappoint Ed Grier to the Massillon Recreation Board. His term is good through 2025.
Passed legislation that offers eligible Massillon City Schools employees a 50% discount on single, two-year memberships to the Massillon Recreation Center starting this month.
