Creative industry urges Australians to get COVID-19 vaccine
Australian artists have come together in a campaign urging people to get a coronavirus vaccination.
The ad, published on social media today, features a host of the nation s most-loved performers, and encourages audiences to play their part by getting jab in the performance of a lifetime .
The performers, including Tim Minchin, Virginia Gay, Deborah Cheetham, Meow Meow, Rhonda Burchmore and comedy group Tripod, call on the public to get vaccinated in a bid to have the country open up again and support the struggling arts industry.

The campaign was launched by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO), with contributions from the Australian Ballet, Opera Australia, Opera Victoria and the Melbourne Theatre Company.
