Senate DFL leaders on Tuesday formally called for an outside investigation into the handling of a sexual harassment claim made by a former Senate staffer who accused her supervisor’s brother of harassing her for months.

Reformer reporting about Cynthia Callais, the former staffer who now works for the teachers union. Callais said that over many months and across two workplaces, including the Senate DFL campaign, House staffer and DFL operative Clay Schwartzwalter the brother of her then-boss state Sen.
