Four years later, Dawson has developed into one of Akron’s more decorated players over the last decade. Dawson, a 2017 graduate of Huntington High School and two-time Mary Ostrowski Award winner as West Virginia’s top prep player, spent her first year of college at Xavier. She played sparingly, registering eight points in 10 games before opting to transfer.
