MONTREAL - Lucie Tremblay wants her colleagues in Quebec s health-care sector to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The head of nursing at the regional health board for west-central Montreal has taken a leading role in the board s efforts to reduce vaccine hesitancy among its employees.
Tremblay said some of her colleagues are still reluctant to get an injection, but they are noticeably fewer than a few months ago. âThere s a lot of people that are very enthusiastic about getting the vaccine, but they re not yet on the priority list,â she said in a recent interview.

Pfizer-BioNTech changes freezer protocol; Canada says itâs confident in vaccine deliveries through mid-April
Pfizer-BioNTech says it has officially requested that Health Canada change the label on the COVID-19 vaccine to reflect that it is now safe to store it for up to two weeks in regular freezers.
The vaccine has until now been shipped and stored in ultra-low-temperature freezers until just before it is injected.
At a briefing today, Maj. Gen. Dany Fortin, the military commander in charge of the federal vaccine distribution program, said if Health Canada follows suit it will give the provinces more flexibility in where they can use the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. It has been limited to a smaller number of sites because there are only so many freezers capable of keeping it at the right temperature.
