Share Bhubaneswar: IIT Bhubaneswar in association with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI),MeitY and Govt. of Odisha is holding a Two day ( 09th-10th April, 2021) Workshop, Hackathon and Start-up Colloquium on Virtual and Augmented Reality in Hybrid mode. The Inaugural ceremony of the Conclave and Hackathon was inaugurated by Dr. Omkar Rai, Director General, STPI and Chief Guest of the event via video conferencing. The event was presided over by Prof. R.V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar and participants were welcomed by Prof. R.K. Panda, Dean Alumni Affairs and International Relations, IIT Bhubaneswar. Software body organises event to honour women Updated: Updated: Share Article AAA A women empowerment workshop titled ‘Naari Shakti’ was organised by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Government of India, at the Pulsus Group office with the participation of over 1,000 women employees as part of Naari Shakti Utsav Week. M.P. Dubey, Joint Director and Office-In-Charge, STPI said that women were playing a dominant role in various sectors, especially in IT/ITeS industry. He said the IT industry in Visakhapatnam was growing fast and expressed confidence that the region would become a hub for ITeS units. Women have become a backbone in IT and ITeS and have contributed significantly to the country’s economy during COVID-19, he said.

Jagannadha Rao on Saturday said the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI-Kakinada) had in principle agreed to set up an incubation centre on the university campus in Rajamahendravaram. Speaking to reporters here, Prof. Rao said talks were completed with STPI-Kakinada of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The STPI authorities had agreed to set up the incubation centre on the main campus. If it materialises, AKNU would be the first university in the State to get the STPI facility.
