© Kennoji / 123 Sanshobo / Cheat Yakushi Production Committee The last day of 2019 revealed that a new anime adaptation was coming from a light novel series with Kennoji’s Cheat Kusushi no Slow Life – Isekai ni Tsukurō Drugstore getting the nod. Translating as The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist: A Drugstore Built on an Alternate World, it’s been quiet since then beyond Seven Seas Entertainment picking up the rights to the light novels and manga adaptations. The official site has done a full rollout of the details for the production now with it set for a Summer 2021 debut. With a new key visual released below, we now know that Masafumi Sato is directing it based on the scripts by Hiroko Kanasugi. Etsuko Sumimoto is working on the character design adaptations with EMT Squared handling the animation production.
