WCVB
BOSTON SouthCoastToday news partners at Storm Team 5 are predicting a long-duration snow capable of delivering up to a foot of snow across much of Massachusetts.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for most of the state with the exception of Cape Cod & the Islands.
The watch will be in effect from Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon.
The storm system will move into New England from the Mid-Atlantic by Monday, as the clouds thicken overnight.
Things should be mostly clear, with the exception of a few flurries, during the Monday morning commute. The biggest concern is during the evening commute.

The Sunday night email from Jana Ferguson, assistant commissioner of Public Health, comes as communities are gearing up to vaccinate a growing number of people starting in February. But Ferguson directed local officials to limit orders of the COVID-19 vaccine amid a shortage of allocations from the federal government.
